Young Adults - Christ Connection is a new ministry geared to young married couples and singles. The focus of this ministry is to provide young married couples with the Biblical foundation to build strong marriages and families and to encourage singles that intend to marry, to pray and seek the Lord for their companion. It is a fact that strong marriages make strong churches.
 |

Christ Connection meets every Sunday morning from 10am until 10:50am in the Family Life Center Fellowship Hall. Our goal is for Christ Connection to have monthly fellowship and to become a vibrant, vital ministry at the Fairlawn Church of God.
We would like to invite all young married couples and singles to come be a part and get connected with Christ Connection!

Here at the Fairlawn Church of God, our Ladies Ministries group is actively trying to pursue this scripture, and reap the harvest of souls in the New River Valley. Our vision is that in everything we do, we desire to be a blessing to others. Whether there is a need in our church, the hospital, a nursing home, or an individual in our community we want to be able to meet that need. We want to minister to all in every way we can, and show you how much God loves you! We support the Church of God State Headquarters, and our International Headquarters in Tennessee. Just take a look at what all we do! Come, be a part of the End-Time Harvest!

This past year, we ministered at the Highland Ridge Rehab Center, we have also had services at the other Rehab centers in our area. We bought Christmas gifts for several children in our church. We also do several mission projects for foreign and home missions. During the summer months we often have a picnic, or go on an adventure to try a restaurant new to some of us. Last September we went to Shatley Springs in Jefferson, NC. where we enjoyed a great lunch, toured the town and cheese factory. We always plan something special for Holidays. We have a group who plans several outings for the coming year. |
